In January 2013, Ricoh’s stand design for drupa 2012 won “highly commended” at IVCA (International Visual Communications Association) –  the UK’s most prestigious corporate live and experiential event awards

At a packed event, presenter Karl Jenkinson revealed the Winners and Highly Commended entries from 17 categories from a year which has seen some of the UK’s and indeed the world’s biggest events for many years. The event, sold out weeks ago, has now grown to represent the UK’s corporate live and experiential events industry in the most prestigious manner, and warm congratulations must go to the winners below who each fought off some amazing competition to collect their prize on the stage.

The IVCA awards cover all industries – and Ricoh’s drupa stand won an award in the Category International Commercial and Promotion against stiff competition from major household brand names.

At drupa 2012 Ricoh wanted a major presence which highlighted not only our market leadership but also our expertise in solutions and print applications.   Our stand was one of the top 20 stands at drupa, and our largest ever Production Print stand – 2,000 square metres in total .We selected  WRG,  one of the UK’s top Creative Communication agencies, to design and build the stand for us.

Designed around a central transformation hub where seminars were held, our core 11 zones featured 100 different applications.

A spectacular 100m2 LED wall and a series of live demos and seminars helped printers understand how to grow and transform their businesses. A key feature of the stand design was the Transformation Hub – right in the centre, where we help seminars on a wide range of industry topics. Leading to the hub was an avenue with benches and trees  - “the Ricoh way”  -to highlight Ricoh’s focus on sustainability.
